October is Liver Disease Awareness Month

Liver disease can develop silently, and many people may not realize they’re at risk. This month, we wanted to highlight the importance of liver health and encourage you to take a closer look at your health.

Conditions like Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH) often have no symptoms in their early to moderate stages, making detection and early awareness especially important.

You may be at risk for MASH if you have high blood pressure (hypertension), diabetes, insulin resistance, high cholesterol, or obesity. A prior MASH diagnosis is not required to participate in our enrolling studies.

We’re currently enrolling multiple clinical studies for MASH and other liver-related conditions:

  • Adults with a known or suspected MASH diagnosis and evidence of moderate to severe liver fibrosis
  • Adults with a history of or presence of MASH symptoms and liver cirrhosis
  • Adults with a liver biopsy confirmation of MASH and other MASH-related conditions

As part of study participation, eligible participants may also receive a complimentary, non-invasive liver fibrosis scan to help determine if liver fibrosis (scarring) is present.

Learning more, asking questions, and exploring your available options can be an important step toward taking control of your liver health. If you or someone you love is living with liver disease and may be at risk, learn more about our enrolling studies today.
