About Preferred Research Partners

Your Preferred Research Site in Arkansas

Who We Are

Preferred Research Partners (PRP), established in 2009, is a research-dedicated clinical trial site headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas. PRP is led by President Paul E. Wylie, M.D., Board-Certified in Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine, and Vice President Amy Kelley, BSN, RN, CCRC, an experienced clinical research executive with extensive expertise in clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and site management.

Since its founding, PRP has conducted 280+ Phase I–IV clinical trials across central nervous system (CNS), psychiatry, sleep medicine, gastroenterology, metabolic disorders, vaccines, pain, and device studies. The site has partnered with numerous leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors, including Janssen, AbbVie, Axsome Therapeutics, Alto Neuroscience, Definium Therapeutics, Atai Life Sciences, Alkermes, Apnimed, Eli Lilly and Company, Merck & Co., Novavax, and Moderna, among many others.

PRP operates a research-dedicated 3-bed sleep laboratory facility, providing integrated capabilities for polysomnography-based and CNS trials, in addition to two purpose-built psychedelic dosing rooms designed to support complex interventional protocols requiring extended monitoring and therapeutic environments. Additionally, there are plans underway to expand our facilities to include an IV infusion center to further support current and upcoming infusion-based clinical trials, enhancing our capacity to safely and efficiently conduct these studies.

The site collaborates with a network of experienced sub-investigators and physician partners across psychiatry, sleep medicine, internal medicine, neurology, pediatrics, and gastroenterology, and ophthalmology. These strategic physician partnerships strengthen recruitment pipelines, enhance protocol feasibility, and support high-quality data collection across diverse therapeutic areas.

With a seasoned regulatory team, strong referral networks, dedicated research infrastructure, and extensive experience in complex CNS and psychedelic-assisted therapy trials, PRP consistently delivers compliant execution, strong enrollment performance, and high participant retention.
